This tutorial will help you create a reading list with Leganto using the Leganto website directly. This is a part of the Leganto Tutorial series, designed to help you set up, maintain, and add materials to your reading list. Let's get started! |

Before we begin, this tutorial is mainly for Boston based and online faculty and instructors. If you are an instructor or faculty member based on the Oakland campus, please refer to the link for Leganto for Oakland instructors or contact Libreserves-oak@northeastern.edu. |

First go to the library homepage at library.northeastern.edu and click on the Course Reserves link in the research section in the center of the main page. |

Next, scroll down slightly down the course reserves page to the section on Faculty and Instructors and click on the Leganto requesting for faculty link. |

On the next screen, scroll down to the Option 2: Leganto homepage and click on the link. It will redirect you to log into your Leganto account using your NU ID and password. |

Your Leganto homepage will show any list that you have worked on to date. If you haven't created any list yet, the page will be blank. Click on the green Create List button to get started. |

A new form for a reading list will appear. You can add a short description of the reading list here. This description will be visible to students who have access to the list. Select next to continue. |

On this page, you can determine how your reading list is organized by splitting it into sections. You can select a template to customize and organize your list into weeks or modules. Or click Create List to start with a single default section. You can add, delete, rename or reorganize sections at any time. This form is just to help you get started with the most appropriate template. Click on Create list once you're done. |
