If this is a new topic, get definitions for your terms from 

International Encyclopedia of Social and Behavioral Science, 2nd edition --major resource to help define your research terms and concepts, such as critical race theory, gentrification, or equity

Use Scholar OneSearch --similar to Google, but better for finding articles from peer-reviewed journals

NOTE: use the quotation marks to search for phrases, and the Filter My Results menu to get articles from peer-reviewed journals.

 

Try an interdisciplinary database, such as Academic Search Complete (does NOT search like Google!) but has helpful subject tags to help focus your search:
