ICPSR maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for research and instruction. You must register for a myData account in order to access some reports.
- Roper Center Public Opinion Archives (with iPOLL) This link opens in a new windowSearch opinion polls from all over the world, using this database from Cornell University. Poll results from news organizations, governments, private foundations, academic institutions, and more. The scope of topics spans politics, culture, workplaces, and social life. 1930s to the present.

- GSS General Social Survey (NORC, University of Chicago)From the website. "For five decades, the General Social Survey (GSS) has studied the growing complexity of American society. It is the only full-probability, personal-interview survey designed to monitor changes in both social characteristics and attitudes currently being conducted in the United States."
- World Values SurveyRepresentative national surveys in more than 120 cultures containing almost 90 percent of the world's population. According to the website, the purpose is to assess the social, political, economic, religious and cultural values of people across the globe.
- ANES (American National Election Studies)Register to use the data sets; registration is free. ANES data are also available through NU's membership in ICPSR (Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research).
- Comparative Study of Electoral SystemsCommon sets of survey questions are used to facilitate international comparisons. Registration is required and is free.
- Chicago Council on Global Affairs - Public Opinion SurveysDatasets and reports available. Surveys of American attitudes toward foreign affairs have been conducted at varying intervals from 1974 to present.
