
What is EndNote?
EndNote is the citation management tool recommended to you for health informatics students.
It is one of several software programs that helps you manage your research and format your citations. EndNote is licensed for use by current Northeastern faculty, staff, and students, which means it's freely available to you as a Northeastern Student. Instructions for getting it are in the box below.
Why use EndNote?
It will save you a massive amount of time when conducting literature reviews and research for your papers.
EndNote will help you:
- organize your references in groups, making them easy to find and use
- Assist in citing in papers (in text citing)
- help create bibliographies
- EndNote can cite in a variety of different citation styles where NoodleTools or EasyBib cannot.
- It comes with added features that help with in text citing (plug-in for Word, called Cite While You Write).
