Journals: a journal is similar to a magazine in that it is published in a named publication that comes out regularly. Journals are structured with Volume and Issue numbers and cover specific subject areas. Key medical and health journals are the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, American Journal of Public Health.
News sources: news often reports on health and healthcare topics. They will often refer to research published in a journal.
