Research data management and data management plan support

About L2 data

The Northeastern library has licensed access to the L2 Voter and Consumer Files. This is a continuously updated database of every registered voter in the United States, and includes basic socio-demographic indicators (some modeled), consumer preferences, party affiliation, voting history, and more.

  • Please contact Jen Ferguson with questions about access to L2 for Northeastern affiliates.
  • Please contact L2 for training or technical support.

Who may access L2 data?

L2 data is currently accessible to Northeastern faculty, staff, graduate students, and visiting scholars with Northeastern credentials.

How can I access L2 data?

Please fill out this form to request access to L2 data.

What happens after I fill out the form to request access to L2 data?

Once you complete and submit the form, it will be sent to a staff member who will respond via email within 3 business days. We may request additional information at that time, but in most cases we will send instructions for accessing the dataset/s.
