What are citation managers?

Citation managers are great tools for organizing your references and producing beautifully formatted bibliographies. Be sure to check with a professor or advisor about whether or not your program requires use of a specific citation manager. The Biology program currently requires students use EndNote.

Cite with Microsoft Word

When you install the EndNote software to your computer, it comes with a plugin for Word, called Cite While You Write. This plugin will allow you to add references directly to your papers as you're writing them.
