Despite the word "business," this database includes many articles on economics. Large numbers of in-depth country reports are included.
NBER Working Papers This link opens in a new window

US-based private, nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of how the economy works. Working papers have not undergone the review accorded official NBER publications; in particular, they have not been submitted for approval by the Board of Directors, but are intended to make results of NBER research available to other economists in preliminary form to encourage discussion and suggestions for revision before final publication. 1973-present.

One of the most trusted sources for scholarly books and historical journal backfiles.
Most journals include extended historic backfiles and not current issues. Arts and Sciences collections 1 thru XV are available, plus the Life Sciences collection, and Business III.

The Northeastern Library also purchases individual e-book titles from JSTOR. The books are available chapter-by-chapter as PDFs.
