The creation process for video can be very different and is often time consuming. There are many right ways to plan and create videos. To ensure an accessible experience and conserve time, it's important to have an intentional plan. It's good to learn about creating descriptive transcripts early because they are created as part of video planning.
Panopto is a powerful video editing and hosting platform. It does have a few quirks. Panopto allows you to replace video "streams" to update videos. Occasionally, older streams will interfere with captions, causing them not to show even though they exist. To remedy this situation, delete older streams from the video.

Information associated with a resource, usually organized in a specific way. The word metadata means "data about data".
Metadata varies but often includes title, creator, and format. Descriptive metadata makes it possible to find and identify resources in a collection. When the metadata in a collection is standardized, the predefined structure is called a metadata schema.
Research or data available for free. Open access resources are sometimes labeled with an unlocked padlock symbol. These resources often have permissive licenses that support re-use and sharing.
