Data analysis and visualization tools

We have a guide to frequently used data visualization tools, but you can also check with Information Technology Services for the latest information on particular tools. If a tool you are interested in using is normally accessed using computers on campus, you can look into accessing software from Northeastern computer labs using a virtual desktop.

Citation Management

Citation management tools are resources to help researchers organize, manage, and properly format their cited sources. Members of the Northeastern University community have access to a number of different options for citation management, either through subscribed tools like RefWorks and EndNote or open-source software like Zotero and Mendeley.

Our Citations and Bibliographies guide includes recorded introductions and some advanced skills for using tools like EndNote, RefWorks, Zotero, and Mendeley.
