NEW RESOURCE!! Guide to Physical Therapist Practice

Try it Out! Database Trials

Bates Visual Guide

Snell Library is now offering a trial to Bates Visual Guide.  Now in its Fifth Edition and featuring completely reshot content and new clinical skills videos, Bates’ Visual Guide delivers head-to-toe and systems-based physical examination techniques for the (Advanced) Assessment or Introduction to Clinical Medicine course. The site features more than 8 hours of video content.  Please contact Sandy Dunphy in Research and Instruction, to obtain a 30 day access code for the trial.

Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy

Also on trial from Snell Libraries now is Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy.  This resource contains more than 300 video clips of real human anatomic specimens in their natural colors. The videos show moving structures—muscles, tendons, and joints—making the same movements that they make in life. The clips build complex structures step-by-step—from bone to surface anatomy—to provide a foundation for understanding anatomical structure and function. Clear narration and labeled structures reinforce learning and review.   Please contact Sandy Dunphy in Research and Instruction, to obtain a 30 day access code for the trial.
