Poetry in the Library: Selected Titles

Reference Books

We have many reference books on poetry, but these are some of my favorites.

The Facts on File companions are excellent for getting information about poets, styles and elements of poetry (free verse, iambic pentameter, etc.), and specific poems. (You can now check these out of the library, too!) Use the Columbia Granger indexes when you need to locate a specific poem but don't know where it might have been published.
